Bright stars from the 4-H
sector of the Morrow County
Fair have moved down to
Salem where they will twink
le. Two girls will model in the
Style Revue in the auditorium
of the new 4-H building on
Thursday, Sept. 2; they are
Debra Klaus, Heppner, and
intermediate and Kate Evans,
a rodeo princess from Irrigon.
Several will present demon
strations: Jyl Hobbs will have
repeated her intermediate
luncheon demonstration yes
terday and Jan Peterson, lone
did her blue-ribbon-winning
demonstration on tying scarf
on Aug. 31, the day that she
also participated in the senior
division pie baking contest.
The outstanding demonstra
tion at the county fair was by
Erin Evans, Irrigon, who
repeated that presentation
entitled "Denim Blues" yes
terday in Salem.
Those whose work was sent
on to Salem included, from
clothing, Judi Ward, Denise
Kennedy, Deann Connor, Tara
Mahoney, Diann Morter,
Becky Hobbs, Meri Evans,
Sonja Biddle, Jyl Hobbs, Lorl
Witt and Janet McEUigott,
Grace McEUigott, Terry Mc
EUigott, Debra Palmer, Nat
alie Tews, Joan Doherty and
Anita Davidson.
Knitting went from Denise
Kennedy, Carol Holtz, Marie
Van Scholack and Ann Van
Schoiack.
Food exhibits that qualified
