float. The chamber hasn't had
a float since 1974 and the old
one had taken on the weather
and dirt.
"We had to pull out every
staple", Wishart said, and had
to clean the old float that
originally was pink and white.
After the wash up, new white
crepe paper was added with
the gold trim.
"It's a lot of work for a ten
minute ride," Wishart said,
but noted that the float will
also be entered in the Board
man Harvest parade.
