Ed Bennett underwent open heart surgery Aug. 3 at St.
Anthony's Hospital. His son Don Bennett, and wife.
Pensacola. FL were able to visit for two weeks.
Wendall Connor underwent open heart surgery last Friday
at St. Vincents Hospital, Portland and is doing quite well.
Helen Currin and Justine Weatherford visited the
Deschutes County Fair at Redmond during its last day,
Sunday, Aug. 8.

Lexington. The young man is
11 years old and is enjoying his
vacation in the United States,
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stea
gall attended the Rosenbush
dwell wedding in Natches
WA. The groom is the grand
son of Mr. and Mrs. Steagall
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Miller
and family of Spokane visited
last week with his uncle and
family, Mr. and Mrs. C.C.
Jones. The Miller family are
moving the latter part of the
month to Heppner.
Venice Hendrickson has re
turned home after a month
spent in St. Paul, MN, where
she visited friends and rela
tives. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wil
liams have been vacationing
in several different areas this
summer. They have enjoyed a
trip to Idaho where they visi
ted friends and relatives and
flew from Pendleton to Balti
more, MD where they enjoyed
a sight-seeing trip through the
early colonies, Annapolis;
enjoyed a cruise on the Green
River and visited their son
Butch at Yorktown, VG,
where he is stationed with the
Coast Guard.

auto accident.
Laurie said she was espe
cially anxious to visit Teresa
Peck at the hospital here. She
had a good visit and was glad
that Teresa is doing nicely.
