A few dances, a parade or
two, maybe a luncheon along
the way?
Forget it.

rodeo court, headed by Queen

V. '. really busy. And they'll be
that way for the rest of the
summer.
The last couple of weeks,
particularly the fourth of July
week, have been active.
" A second place, red, ribbon
at Prineville in the mounted
court division was this year's
low. Last week at the Crooked
River Round-Up, in Prinevil
le,' called "Oregon's Cowboy
Capitol", the girls performed
superbly but ended up second.
That's the only second this
year and that competition was
stiff.
i At Milton-Freewater, at the
Twin City Jamboree, the girls
placed first in the mounted
court division and were able to
wave the coveted blue ribbon
high as they advertised the
Morrow County Fair and
Rodeo.
' Following the parade, the
court attended the Queen's
luncheon, a chicken barbecue
in Lante's Park as guests of
Twin City Queen Lisa Ringer
and princesses Ann McDevitt
and Kelly Sloan.
About 200 people attended
the luncheon with each court
introduced and Queen Patri
cia was honored to announce
her Morrow County court as
first place winners in the
riding courts.
Along with Queen Patricia,
the court is Princesses Kate
Evans, Jan Spaulding, Klmee
Haguewood and Bonnie Schil
ler. The girls enjoyed the par
, ade, that included many floats
and more than 20 mounted
riding groups and a variety of
miscellaneous entries.

The girls received many
compliments on their outfits
and appearance along the
