State grain
fees revised
The Oregon Department of
Agriculture has issued an
administrative action, revis
ing fee schedules of the grain
division on grading, weighing
and analyzing of grain, hay
and associated commodities.
The order increases most of
the fees charged for these
services and permits the
Grain Division of Oregon De
partment of Agriculture to
require a guarantee of ex
penses when a service is
requested that will require
assignment of employees at a
point where the volume of
work at the established fee
would not be adequate to pay
costs of handling the work.
It also increases mileage
charges to 15 cents per mile
from office and return (no
charge will be made when
transportation is furnished)
and sets $12 as the hourly rate
to be charged over and above
the $15 per hour for overtime.
