Please accept this informal
lhanks to the many friends
and co-workers who honored
me on my exit from Morrow
County schools. It came as a
complete surprise and I was a
little lost for words, but it will
be a night I will treasure the
remainder of my life.
A special thanks to the
people who prepared the
magnificent meal and more so
to the ones who cleaned up the
mess. Thanks to the patrons of
my bus run for their generosi
ty to the cause. These people
and their offspring are the
Dnes I will miss the most. The
memento from the coaches
will not be used for the
purpose that was intended but
will be placed in its cherished
spot on the hearth of my
fireplace.
Through the generosity of
my colleagues, I will probably
become one of the "Outstand
ing Big Game Hunters" of
Morrow County. That is if I
can control my stumbling and
dropping my gun so much.
I also appreciate the com
mendation from the Super
intendent of Public Instruction
for my accident-free bus
driving of 22 years. Had I
known farewell was so enjoy
able I would have quit a
hundred years ago.
