SPRAY IUEWS
With stocking-stutters, re
ams of rumpled wrappings,
turkey left-overs and a touch
of nausea only one day behind
us, news this week necessarily
becomes a repetitious report
on "comings and goings."
Those who are without house
guests are those away on
vacation. It has been, happily,
the perfect holiday season.
Short on illness and accidents,
long on neighborhood parties
and family gatherings. And
with a knowledgeable view of
this little time it is also good to
report no one having had a
lonely Christmas. Great little
village, Spray. No one is alone
here.
Mrs. Ted Cress received
telephone calls from three of
her daughters on Christmas
Day. Mrs. William Schell, CA,
Martina Keeling, McGebee,
AR, and Rosa Dail, England.
The Dails are expected here
late in January. Dail, with the
U.S. Air Force, has been
transferred to Lackland AFB,
TX, where he will be stationed
for two years. He and his
family will visit relatives in
several states enroute.
The Ed Tilleys are happily
occupied with four of their
grandchildren this week, Mike
and Mark Keimig, Hermiston
and Randy and Robby Mise
ner, Bend, their parents
having returned to their
homes late Christmas Day.
Enjoying the hospitality of
the Joe and Nadine Worlein
home through Christmas were
Ken and Judy Koning and
their two daughters from
Eugene and the Worleins
daughter and family, Pat and
Wayland Niatt with Teresa,
Travis and Troy, Heppner.
from McKewens time spent at
the Condon Air Base several
years back.
A delightful Christmas par
ty was held at the school
cafeteria when the TOPS Club
met Monday evening. All
members were present, each
lady bringing a guest. The
holiday theme was carried out
in decorations, songs and
Christmas corsages.
The purpose of TOPS was
evident in refreshments of
orange slices and coffee.
Lou Cress was top winner at
the Bingo tables.
Visitors included Clara
Strecker, Edith Chapman,
Jodi Brisbois, Barbara Ad
ams, Sherrill Cossett, Martina
Warren, Mary Williams, Lou .
Cress and Mrs. Carick, Delo
res Mun jar's mother, here
from Prineville.
Charles Sanders who has '
been here visiting his parents,
Ed and Nellie, dipped a wing -over
the family home as he
left Monday with his instruc
tor, Gordon Gore, on his
return flight to Ukiah, CA.
Careful there, Charles! (I
knew that kid when he was a
danger on a. tricycle.)
Tim Sanders and daughters
Tonya and Katrina spent
Christmas here with the Ed
Sanders.
Odell and Joyce Adams,
Ruth Adams and Ralph Ben
nett were in Prineville Tues
day for medical and dental
appointments.

those areas with the many questions which arise concerning program offerings. The results have
been most impressive.
Both the amount of information and the Dumber of programs offered have Increased and we hope
to continue providing that kind of service to communities outside the campus area.

Mrs. Stroeber is also a
daughter of the Cecils.
Tuck Jackson miscalculated
a bit in his Christmas carving
and sustained a badly cut
thumb. Not too serious and
Tuck comments he is antici

In the" midst of Friday's
