The school's Christmas pro gram at the gym Thursday evening was most enjoyable, dispeling any pre holiday blues one might have been experiencing. The audience was invited to join in singing the traditional songs herald ing the Season of Noel. Mrs. Hosken's pre school students were outstanding as were Lloyd Little's second, third and fourth graders with their portrayal of Meows cat food commercial. And the High School's mod ern presentation of Little Red Riding Hood shocked cast and audience alike right out of legend into dazed unreality and, incidentally, left them there. The program was made up of joyful and unexpected happenings, the merriest of all. the arrival of Santa Claus in the nick of time, with his reindeer. What Is the plural of reindeer. Some one? Roy and Pauline Britt and Tina Stuber returned from Salem and Portland Sunday evening where they visited Pauline's son and family, the Gary Gochenours and Roy's daughter and her family, the Rod Pietilas. Tod Pietila recently sustained a fractured wrist in an accident at his home. Mary, is office manager where she is em ployed with Toiybee National Forest Service in Reno and has spent several weeks at a Utah College and will take further training in Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ash meade left Friday for Jeffer son where they will spend the holidays with their daughter and family, the Lyle Rillings. One small boy. scoffing at his young sister's firm conviction in the reality of Santa Claus. was badly shaken upon picking up the family mail, to find a letter to his sister postmarked North Pole. Doing a rapid and complete turn around, both in mind and foot work, the lad had a letter posted to his merry, bearded, rotund friend in less than the traditional wink of an eye. doubts thrown to the four winds. Mrs. Ray Britt has visited her mother there over the week end. Nine guests were invited when Mrs. Lee Brisbois serv ed a dinner in observance of her husband's birthday at their home Sunday evening.
