The Rev. Kenneth Benin
lendi, an Assembly of God
missionary to Taiwan, was the
guest speaker at the Assembly
of Cod Church, Irrigon, Wed.,
Oct. I, according to Pastor
Robert Schmoll.
During their past term of
service, Mr. Beninlendi and
his wife Linda were involved
in promoting the International
Correspondence Institute in
Taiwan. They were overseers
of the program Involving some
25.000 Chinese students ICI is
the major correspondence
Bible study program of the
Assemblies of God. Over
1,000.000 students from 76
countries are enrolled. The
Beninlendis also operate an
English night school In Taipei.
On their next term of
service the Beninlendis will
return lo Taiwan to continue
translating ICI courses into
the Chinese language and
promoting the Institute. They
will be working with local
churches and assisting with
their ministries.
Prior to their missionary
appointment the Beninlendis
paslored churches in Toledo
and Waldport. OR. Both are
graduates of Northwest Bible
College. Kirkland, WA. They
have one daughter. Melody
June, age 5.
