Majeske Wright as successor
to the late Tiny Sweeney as
Morrow County Health Nurse
Mrs Wright has been working
in this capacity during part of
Mrs Sweeney's illness Pat.

possible that if an application
which has been submitted to
the Maternal and Health
Section of the State Health
Division is approved, that
funding will be available to
change Mrs Wright from
three-fifths time to full time

attended a meeting of the
East -Central Oregon. District
No 12. Association of Coun
ties Last week. Tuesday, the
final budget hearing saw five
persons appear on behalf of
the Heppner Child Care Cen
ter to plead for financial
assistance After discussion a
special allowance of $250 was
granted for the improvement
of the center It is understood
that this amount was to come
Irom the 1974-75 budget and
not from the 1975-76 budget
At the regular meeting of
the court last Wednesday the
proposed budget for the eom

adopted The new budget

general fund and road de
