Senior citizens visit BMCC and kept busy with programs Senior citizens from lone, l-exington and Heppner went to Pendleton Monday for a carefully planned spring out ing managed by the Blue Mountain National Educa tional and Development Coun cil. Seven volunteer cars and drivers were recruited from several churches Pat Brindle. coordinator of Heppner's Nei ghborhood Center arranged the day for the participants from Morrow. At II 45 a nr. 150 seniors and council personnel from Morrow and I'matilla com munities were seated for lunch in the Presbyterian Church. After visiting u ith friends from various areas, partaking in a good meal and meeting new friends, the group went to the Blue Mountain Community College campus. The visitors w ere directed to the theater in Pioneer Hall.
