Members answered roll call

book. The club decided to have
an overnight trail ride this
summer.

April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the
high school library. Debra and
Donna Palmer will give a
demonstration on how to fill

make showing
One school record was set
and two others nearly fell as
the Heppner High School
trackmen turned in outstand
ing performances Saturday in
Salem at the Willamette
Relays.
Dave Mcl.eod broke his own
record in the high jump with a
leap of fi'1 1" and placed third
overall in the A competition.
His old record was 5' 10", set
last year.
Mcl.eod also turned in the
top individual performance by
earning a third-place finish in
the high hurdles with a time of
and was on the winning
sat and mile relay teams.
It was in the two relay
events that other school re
cords were narrowly missed.
