5:00 o'clock P.M., on the 2uth day of January, 1075, at tbe
office of the Town Recorder In the City Hall of Lexington,
Oregon, and Immediately thereafter publicly opened, In the
Council Chambers at said City Hall, for the purchase of an
issue of Bonds of the Town of Lexington. Morrow County,
Oregon, In the aggregate principal amount of 1 1 15.000.00 pur
value. The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to acquire,
construct, repair, extend and Improve the water system of
said Town of Lexington, Oregon, The Bonds are to he in the
rienomlnalion of ! 1 15,000,00 each, dated October I, I NTS, or
the date of delivery at the option of the purchaser, and shall
bear Interest at the rate not to exceed 3 percent annum,
payable semi-annually on January 1 and July I, beginning
January 1, 1073,
The Farmer Home Administration hus agreed to
purchase the Bonds If no acceptable bid Is received. In the
event the Farmers Home Administration purchases the
Bonds, or any portion thereof, the Bonds so purchased may
he In the form of one or more installment Bonds and shall
bear such dates and be issued In such principal Installments
as the Town Council may hereafter provide by Ordlnunre.
Said Bonds wilt be sold to the highest responsible bidder
and for not less than their par value and Die entire amount of
accrued Interest (hereon, and to the bidder offering the
lowest effective interest rate to the Town, taking Into
consideration and account such premiums as are offered by
the bidder in connection with the purchase of the Bonds, with
interest bring computed to the respective maturity dales.
The bid must contain a statement of the net interest cost
under the terms of the bid.

at the office of the Town Recorder. Lexington. Oregon.

Lexington, and will be additionally secured by a pledge of the
