the Cards, but the Cards
rallied in the second quarter

homecoming activities will be
Oct. 18 19.
The events will begin with a
noise parade on Oct. 18
starting at 12:30 p.m. from the
high school, touring the town
area, and returning to the
school for a pep assembly at 1
p.m.
At 7 p.m. there will be the
bonfire and the traditional
lighting oi the "I" with the
freshman class in charge of
preparations. Cocoa and coo
kies will be served in the
cafetorium after the pep rally.
The homecoming game a
gainst Culver will be Oct. 19 at
2 p.m. The Queen will be
crowned at halftime.
The homecoming dance will
be from 9 to midnight in the
high school cafetorium. Music
will be provided by the The
Rolling West.
Savage, Touchet, on the S yard
line prevented the lone score.
The Indians tried to move
the ball, but the Cardinal
defense held and the Indians
were forced to kick.
With one minute left in the
game, Phil Carlson scored the
winning TD for the Cardinals
on a 15 yard run. The try for
the extra point failed as the

Heppner JVs lost 34-0 to
McEwen Monday afternoon in
Heppner.
"McEwen did everything
right and we did everything
wrong," slated Heppner

McEwen team."
The JVs final game will be
against Sherman Monday,
Oct. 22. at Moro.
