A dinner party was held af Cal's Cafe with local relatives and friends, most of whom were present and parti cipated at the Robinson wed ding. Those present besides Don ald and Merlyn were Eva Robinson, Creston and Kay Robinson, Bob and Marion i Abrams. Frank and Kay Anderson, Don and Margaret Evans, all of Heppner and John and Mary Campbell of Condon. The Donald Robinsons are the third and fourth genera tions to reside on their ranch, formerly the M. J. Devin homestead. Later the ranch was owned by Merle and Altha Kirk, and the Kirk & Robinson ranch name was adopted in im. The Robinsons enjoy a wide range of activities, particular ly in livestock circles. Mr. Robinson has been open class beef superintendent for a number of years. The family is involved in 4-H and FFA affairs, and Don has recently been elected president of the Oregon Polled Hereford Asso ciation for the ensuing year. Devin family descendants hold picnic A potluck picnic family reunion for the various des cendants of the Devin family was held Sept. 29 in the Hermiston City Park. M.J. Devin homesteaded in Morrow County in the early days, coming here in a cover ed wagon. There were the largest number of descend ants from Matt Devin present. Bill and Jackie Labhart were hospital lied recently as the result of a head-on collision on the out skirts of Prineville. Labhart suffered a frac tured Jaw and skull, but Is reported making a good re covery. His wife received lacerations and bruises. The driver of the other vehicle was cited for driving while under the influence of liquor. This was his fourth DUIL offense. The Labharts, who were returning from a John Day wedding, are now La Grande residents. He is with the Oregon State Police.
