This steam engine runs fine, and is pollution free. It was
entered by OrvilleCutsforth, who purchased it on sight many
years ago. According to Orville, after he purchased the
engine it took two teams to haul water and another two teams
to haul coal to keep the boiler going. "With that many teams
of horses in use we could have done more work than with the
engine." he said.

MUTUAL OF OMAHA AGENT David A. Peterson,
Heimiston. is showing jar of beans in his booth at the
Morrow- County Fair held last week in Heppner. Over
ftJO people signed up at the booth for a chance on a
half a hog that was to be given to the person who
came close-it to the exact amount of beans in the Jar.
Two persons puetul exactly the same number and
were closest. Each will receive 4 hog cut and wrapped.

to Columbus AFB, Miss.,
where he serves with a unit of
the Air Training Command.
He was commissioned in
1970 upon graduation from
Officer Training School at
Lackland AFB, Tex., and has
completed a tour of duty at
Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai
AFB, Thailand.

School, he earned his B.S.
degree in science in 1969 from
