Bob DeSpain Goes Back

plans to enroll this fall and
puisne his Master of Music in
Composition. He is an Oregon
Slate 1071 graduate in Composi
tion and Theory of Music. Willi

especially interested in teach
ing at the Junior and Com
munity College level.
Mr. and Mrs. DeSpain and
Arwen plan to leave for Eugene
about June 1 to secure employ
ment and find living quarters.

The Tuesday night Spare
timers' League had their "Fun
Night" on May 8 and presented
awards to winners in various
categories.
The first place learn was
Morrow County Grain Growers
w ith Peterson's placing second.
MCGG members are Bebe
Munkers, Shirley Cox, Linda
Dunlap, Marie Turner and
Phyllis Cole. Peterson's mem
bers are Inetia Cantin, Dorris
(haves, Karen Cox, Jo Petty
john and Faye Wilson.
Individual awards went to
Vicki Robinson for high game
with handicap and Darlcne
Arlington, high game scratch.
Inetia Cantin bowled high series
scratch and Maxine Cox had
high series with handicap.
These women received pins.
Ernestine Messick was the most
improved bowler.
League bowling has been
completed until next fall.
I know a woman who suffers

to Redmond
Four members of (he Morrow
County CowBelles drove to
Redmond last Thursday to
attend a state planned Beef
Pormotion Day at the Juniper
Country Club. Following a most
delicious roast beef luncheon,
each county gave a report on
their activities towards beef
promotion. Attending from here
were Mrs. John Eubanks,
president, Mrs. Jerry Bosnan,
Mrs. Merlin Hughes and Mrs.
Ned Clark.
MAUREEN McELLlGOTT is
in Hawaii visiting with friends
for three weeks. Peter, Mike
and Mary McEIligott are home
for summer vacation from the
University of Portland. Mary is
driving school bus for Maureen
while she is in Hawaii.
