ion show and card party. The

April 25 at 7;30 p.m. in the

mons, in Boardman.
Dessert will te served and
both pinochle and bridge will
follow the fashion show. Fa

THE A.C. HOUGHTON PTA
met Apr. 10, with Mrs. Gene
Trumbull of Boardman pre
siding. "Resusitating An
nie", was demonstrated by
Mrs. Wayne Harris of Pen
dleton, representing the Red
Cross. A film was shown
explaining when and how
imuth to mouth resusitation
can be given to save a life.
Mrs. Harris then demonstra
ted the procedure on the life
size plastic doll. It was
regreted that more people
were not present to avail
themselves of this training.
"Resusitating Annie" will be
at A.C. Houghton School on
April 19 at 12:30, when a
Red Cross representative
will show correct procedure
in giving resuscitation to the
fourth and fifth grade stu
dents. In the treasurers report
it was announced that $139.18
was cleared on the Scholar
ship Dinner, making a total
of $377.50 balance in the PTA
treasury.
Mrs. Billy Griffin moved
that the PTA furnish refresh
ments of ice cream and punch
for Field and Track Day,
the motion was approved.
The present officers will
continue in office until next
year when the forming of a
new club can be more fully
discussed.
