ust 'IX 1M5. The Baptist Church
was bti'It In 1902. The Christian
Church was Ltter orcanlzed and
then built the present building
In 1911.
In 1910 the Cooperat I v e
Church, consisting of the Con-
rrojatlonal, Ciirlstlan ana Bap
tist churches, was formed. Up
until January 19-13 this church
received mlsson aid. In 1952 the
Christian and Congregational
Churches voted to form the
"lone Community Church,
which became affiliated with
the Oregon Conference of Con-
"relational Churches in 1933.
In 1937 the Congregational
nd Christian Chur hes and the
Kvancollcal and Reformed
Church merged on the national
level to form the United tnurcn
of Christ. At the annual meet
ing in 19G3 the lone Community
Church voted to change Its
name to the lone United Church
of Christ and was incorporated
under that name.
In 1937 the present puXsonage
was built and In 1903 the Bap
tist church building was pur
chased and remodeled for a
Christian Education building.
