-Candidates offered to Oregon voters in this election by
the Republican Party are among the most able and experienced
leaders it has ever been our privilege to recommend.
Republican candidates work for time-honored principles
of HUMAN VALUES, which emphasize the rights, freedoms
and opportunities of the individual, and for fiscal responsibil
ity, which recognizes that no dollar can be spent by government
which has not first been taken from citizens.
Under Republican leadership in the executive and legis
lative branches of our state government, Oregon has taken
the lead in environmental control, education, fair employment
practices, park and highway development, workmen's compen
sation benefits, property tax relief and many more issues vital
to the State of Oregon.
The strengths and benefits of this nation's two-party sys
tem can best be attained by electing more Republicans to repre
sent us in Washington, D. C, Salem, and Morrow County.
Men of HONESTY and INTEGRITY must be in control
for GOOD STATE and NATIONAL GOVERNMENT.
