of Elizabeth Ann Stevenson to
Mrs. Weatherford's son, William
Peake Habcrlach. He is station

The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Barton Stevenson
of Yakima.

father, wore a dress of full
length white cotton lace with
long full sleeves. She carried a
bouquet of all white mixed
flowers, stephanotis, daisys,
mums and lily of the valley.

The bride's mother wore a
light turquoise dress of shan
tung. The bridegroom's mother
wore a blue and white Japanese
silk suit.
The reception was held at the
Black Forest Inn. Mrs. Frank
Haberlach and Mrs. Gerald Stev

Pettyjohns Honored
On 25 th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pettyjohn

house, on their 25th wedding
anniversary on May 10. at the
home of Mrs. George Miller In
Olex. The affair was planned
by their three daughters. Forty
five relatives and friends from
lone, Arlington, and Olex at
tended and signed the Annlver
snry book given to Mr. and Mrs.
Pettyjohn from their children.
A "Maypole, with money attach
ed to the streamers" was pre
sented from the guests.
A tiered cake made and dec
orated by the girls was decorat
ed In white, purple and silver,
with a half moon horseshoe,
around the numbers 25, center
ed on the top. It was the cen
terpiece for the attractive tea ta
ble, flanked by an arrangement
of purple lilacs and candles. Mrs.
Paul Pettyjohn, Sr., presided at
the punch bowl, Mrs. Marion
Palmer, coffee and tea, and Mrs,
George Miller cut and served the
cake.
A buffet supper was served
later In the evening.
Hosts and hostesses for the
occasion were Miss Marianne
Pettyjohn, Mr. and Mrs. George
Miller (Nancy) and Mr. and Mrs.
Bill McCoin (Pattl).

A bridal shower was held May
16, at the Willows Grange Hall
In honor of Miss Bonnie Akers,
whose marriage to Rodney Lin-
ncll will be June 13.
The room was decorated with
floral bouquets of yellow and
green, and a large bride doll
belonging to Bonnie centered
the gift table. Misses Berniece
Matthews, Deniece Matthews
and Marcia Linnell assisted with
the opening of the gifts.
The song "Love" was sung by
Debora, Donna and Anita Palm
er, accompanied by Barbara
Palmer on the piano.
The tea table was attractively
decorated in the same color
theme, with Mrs. Berl Akers, pre
siding at the punch bowl, Mrs.
Don Linnell at the coffee serv
ice, and Mrs. Jessie Hatfield of
Mayville, cutting and serving
the cake.

Sans Souci Delegates
To State Assembly
Arrangements were made in
Sans Souci Rebekah Lodge No.
33 meeting of May 15 to man
the kitchen for Memorial Day
Potluck dinner. This the lodge
members have taken care of for
several years.
