tended the funeral services of
Alvin Barlow in Heppner on Sat
urday.

Holly and Bunchgrass Rebek
ah Lodges met for a joint meet
ing at the Lexington IOOF hall
last Thursday night when the
Rebekah assembly president
paid them an official visit.
Lodge was opened by Holly and
closed by Bunchgrass. Gifts were
presented the honored guest by
Mrs. Edith Matthews and Mrs.
Delpha Jones. The PNG charge
was given by Holly members
dressed in white formals. Pre
ceding the dinner a luncheon

Needlework contest. The winners
of this contest will be sent to
the National Grange where they
will be judged on that level. An
open house was enjoyed on Fri
day at which time the articles
were on display.

Beaches, and a three-day visit
to Paris.
