Mrs. Jane Rawlins To Conduct Flower Workshop In lone Mrs. Bill (Jane) Rawlins will conduct a flower arranging workshop Wednesday, August 6 at an an oay meeting of the lone Oarden club. Mrs. Fred Martin, publicity chairman for tne club, extends an open Invl tation to the public to attend the workshop. Mrs. Rawlins will teach the fundamentals of ar ranging. Instruction will take place at the lone Legion Hall beginning ai iu a.m. At noon there will be a break for sack lunches and tne aiternoon will be spent prac ticing flower arrangements. All attending are asked to bring containers, flowers and foliage plus any equipment they may need. Pruning shears, scls sors or a knife will be needed for cutting. Nelson Elected at 37th Yearly Reunion Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Nelson, Jr.. spent Saturday night, July 2f. in Portland with her mother, Mrs. S. C. Ransdell. Sunday they took his mother, Mrs. A. II. Nel son, with them to Lions, Ore., to attend the Neal-Trask-Chrls-man family reunion. Other members of the Nelson family attending were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sloneckcr (Clara Nelson) of Milwaukie. The bride's parents have been members of the teaching staff of the Jamaica Bible School and College at Mandeville, Jamaica. Mrs. Sherman attended erade school in Haiti, the Manchester Hi?h school and Bishops High school, under the British sys tem, in Mandeville, and three years at Gordon College.
