members present, and urged
them to make reservations for
the national convention which

Entertainment provided for
the evening were solos by Deann
Connor, musical selections from
the glee club nda performance
by the lodge drill team.

Father of the Year barbecue
dinner, held last Saturday. June
21. at the county fairgrounds.
Many other guests at the din
ner included friends and neigh
bors of the family, members of
the sponsoring 4 11 dubs and
CowBelles members and their
husbands.
McElllgott, who was present
ed with a barometer and en
graved plaque by the local Cow
Belles organization, was chosen
to represent Morrow county in
competition with other county
winners for the state Father of
the Year title.

of 4-11 ski club
projects and other volunteer ac
tivities. He has taught catechism
classes at St. Williams Catholic

Locust Chapter No. 119, Order
of Eastern Star, will hold open
installation on Sunday. June 29,
at 7 p.m. at the lone Masonic
hall. Installing officer will be

ner. Grand Conductress of the
Grand Chapter of Oregon. She
will install Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Halvorsen as Worthy Matron
and Patron, as well as Install
ing the other officers.
The ceremony will be follow
ed by the Masons' annual
strawberry and ice cream social.
Officers will wear short
dresses.
All members of the Masonic
and Eastern Star lodges in the

Mrs. Raymond F. (Bud) Batty on
their 25th wedding anniversary
was held last Saturday after

brother and sister-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Kenneth Batty.
