ONE DRIVER made the mistake of turning south on Chase from Willow in
the dark of night about 10 p.m. Tuesday. Water swooshed over his head
lights and hood. He veered to the right and found sanctuary on the Hotel
Heppner parking lot. Camera caught him emerging from the flood waters.
