Morrow, Oregon, will meet at
the County Courthouse in Hepp
ner, Oregon, to publicly exam
ine the assessment rolls for said
County of Morrow, for the year
1969, and to correct all errors in
valuation, description, or quali
ties of land, lots or other prop
erty assessed by the assessor.
The ratio between assessed
and true cash value adopted by
the Board of Equalization pur
suant to ORS 309.034 is 100 per
cent. (The ratio determined by
the Assessor pursuant to ORS
309.028 is 100 percent).
It shall be the dutv of the
persons interested to appear at
the time and place appointed.

In Golf Tourney

KINZUA On Saturday. April
19, 23 boys, representing five
schools in the area, were guests
of the Wheeler High Golfers in
the annual Wheeler High Invi
tational, at the Kinzua Golf
course. Team competition was
based on medal play over 18
holes, each schools represented
by four chosen golfers.
Grant Union of John Day, pac
ed by Mike Taylor, who fired a
sparkling two under par round,
topped the field when the final
scores were turned in. Wheeler
High found themselves in sec
ond place, with the Wahtonka
swingers third.
Schools participating this year
were Grant Union, Heppner,
Condon, Wahtonka, and Wheel
er.
Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Gamroth
and infant son, Darrel, of Ver
nonia, arrived Saturday morning
to spend the week-end visiting
with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dyer.
Rev. and Mrs. Robert Dove
were hosts last Monday to a
group of Village Mission Work-
esr for a Fellowship and Prayer
Day at the Kinzua Community
church. Their meeting started
with a luncheon at noon and
those attending were Rev. and
Mrs. Fred Wafer and family of
Mt. Vernon, Rev. and Mrs. Dale
Sherman and family of Long
Creek, and Rev. and Mrs. Roger

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wright and
daughter, Crystal, and Mrs.
Omar Stubblefield were in Port
land Friday for Crystal to have
a medical checkup. Later that
day Mr. and Mrs. Stubblefield
and son, Daniel, and Mr. and

to Wallowa for the week-end.

Mrs. Stubblefled's mother, Mrs.
Ida Sasser and they also stop
