the ceremony were Misses Julie
and Jeanne Suprey of Fortuna.
Miss Linda Quadros, cousin of
the groom, served as flower girl.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Jsmes Collins of Portland. Miss
Jenny Quadros, cousin of the
groom, and Mrs. David (Barbara
Bloodsworth) Anderson of Al
bany, attended as bridesmaids.
The bridal attendants wore
Identical gowns of yellow nylon
dotted swiss over yellow satin.
The gowns were designed with
a semi-empire waistline, long,
full sleeves, and large collars.
Lace trimmed the edge of the
collars and bordered the cuffs
of the unlined sleeves. Each at
tendant wore a matching head
piece and carried a nosegay of
white and yellow daisy chrys
anthemums. Terry Reardon of Walnut
Creek served as best man, and
David Marchman, cousin of the
groom, was ring bearer. Usher
ing the guests were Dick Potter,
brother of the bride, and David
Quadros, cousin of the groom.
Traditional wedding music
was provided by organist Joyce
DeMant, and also accompanied
Chet Gibbs of Fortuna when he
sang "O Perfect Love".
A wedding reception followed
the ceremony. The bride's cous
in, Patricia Aldrich of San Jose,
Calif., attended the guest book.
Mrs. Roland Dickie of King City,
Calif., aunt of the bride, cut the
wedding cake.
After a brief trip to Reno,
Nev., the young couple drove to
Virginia where they will make
their first home while Mr. Quad
ros is In military service. Their
address is Aptm. B-8, 7419 Ford
son Road, Alexandria, Va. 22306.
The bride was graduated from
Heppner High school with the
class of 1967. while her father
was employed here as county
school superintendent. Follow
ing graduation, she attended
Oregon State University where
she was a member of Chi Omega
sorority. The groom also attend
ed Oregon State University and
was affiliated with Acacia Fra
ternity. Saturday Card Party
To Aid lone Library
Residents of lone and the sur
rounding areas are invited to
attend a card party at Willows
Grange hall in lone on Satur
day evening. March 29, at 8.00
pm. Pinochle and pedro will
be in play, with prizes awarded
at the close of the evening.

ed from those attending, to be
used in support of the lone Pub
lic Library.

Couple to Exchange
Vows in Lebanon
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wheeler of
Lebanon, announce the engage
ment and coming marriage of
their daughter, Miss Beth Kvale,
to Greg Pierce, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Gene Pierce of Heppner.
The couple will exchange
their marriage vows on Satur
day, April 5, at 4 p.m., at the
First Baptist church In Lebanon.
Miss Kvale Is currently a stu
dent at Blue Mountain Commun
ity College In Pendleton. Pierce
returned a few months ago
from Vietnam, where he was
stationed with the U. S. Marine
Corps. He Is currently working
as an officer with the Hermiston
City Police Department, where
the couple will live following
their marriage.
Mrs. Art Golbrolth and two
daughters were in Prairie City
last week where they spent time
visiting with her mother, Mrs.
Jake Schultz.

Wrangler Clean-up
Regular monthly meeting of
the Heppner Wrangler Riding
club will be Tuesday evening,
April 1. at 8:00 p.m. at the club
house. All members are urged
to attend.
First Wrangler Playday of the
season will be Sunday, March
30. at 1:00 p.m. All members
are asked to bring a sack lunch,
shovels, hammers, nails, or any
tool they may need for a clean
up of the grounds. Clean-up
will be followed by games, for
practice only. . , .
