KINZUA Funeral services
were held Saturday afternoon at
the Kinzua Community church
for Leo Roy Tripp, 59, who was
born on May 11, l!))8, at Un
ion. Ore., and passed awav De
cember 12 at Good Samaritan
hospital in Portland where he
had been a patient for severa
weeks following a car accident
in Prlneville.
Leo had lived in Kinzua and
worked for Kinzua Corporation
for 37 years until last July
when he moved to Prineville to
make his home.
He is survived by one half
brother. Holly Tripp of Los An
eeles, Calif., five brothers: Glenn
of Oakridge. uumcy or Fossil
Zolen of Redmond, Arden of
Kinzua, and Layton of Deer
Park, Wash. Also, two sisters.
Mrs. Mvrna Smith and Mrs. Ai
leen O'Neall. both of Silverton
He also left numerous nephews
and nieces, plus a host of
friends.
Interment was in the Odd Fel
lows cemetery in Fossil. Serving
as pall bearers were Clarence
Benson, Jack Ball, Edward
Wham, Robert Brons of Port'
land. Ed Grant and Paul Har
rison of Prineville.
Mr. and Mrs. Jiggs Bowman
and daughters Sara and Cindy
left last Thursday morning for
Castle Rock, Wash., and on to
Fort Lewis to attend the grad
uation of their son, Victor, from
basic training. They returned
home Saturday bringing Vic
home with them for a Christmas
leave.

crowd present. Basketball games
between two grade school teams

choir which sang between
scenes and closed the program
with an impressive rendition of
"The Lord Is My Shepherd."
