made for the one week wrest
ling session at Perry's Siwts
Camp. Julv 16 to 22. Dr. Dale

and younger boys who have had
little or no previous wrestling
experience. The program is de
signed to include all levels of
ability.

field training encampment at
Look bourne AFB, Ohio.
Lindstrom is one of some
1.-400 students in the two-year
AFROTC program attending six
week encampments this sum
mer at Air Force installations
throughout the country.
Authorized by recent legisla
tion, the two-year program en
ables highly qualified college j
officers in only two years. Af
ter completion of the six weeks
of field training, the students
become AFROTC cadets upon re
turn to college in the fall.
Lindstrom attends the Univer
sity of Puget Sound in Tacoma,
Wash.
During field traning the stu
dents are given 50 hours of
hours of athletics and physical I
training. iney paniniiaie in
survival training, visits to oth
er Air Force bases, and flights
in Air Force aircraft. They also
receive special briefings on op
erations and functions of base
activities.
Each student receives the pay
of an active duty Air Force air-
