Pendleton Community hospital
on Tuesday, where he has been
receiving treatment for about
three week. Mrs. Roberts and
her sister, Mr. Victor Itietmann,
drove over for him.

Women's Fellowship met at
the United Church of Christ on
Wednesday afternoon with Mrs.
Alfred Nelson, Jr. as hostess. A
panel discussion was held on
the speeches given by Rev. Rick
Mawson, chaplain of the Las
Vegas strip, at the Mid-Columbia
Association meeting recent
ly at Milton-Freewater. Those
taking part were Mrs. Walter B.
Unwell, Mrs. F. T. Martin, Mrs.
Robert Jepsen. Mrs. Alfred Nel
son. Jr., and Mrs. K. M. Baker.

with table settings and flower
arrangements, will be shown.
A turkey dinner with all the
trimmings Is promised to every
one who attends the affair
sponsored by the American Leg
Ion Auxiliary at their hall on
Flection Day.' Dinner will be
served at noon and as long as
there Is food. Adults will nay
$1.75 with preschool children
served free. Homemade pie and
coffee will be served all day.
