to Wheeler County, where only
46 traffic accidents took place
in 1965. In 1964. Wheeler Coun
ty also was the lowest in total
accidents, with only 44.
Seven counties recorded
more than 2,000 accidents in
1965. Multnomah was the
highest, with 29,278. Lane had
6,848, Marion, 4.705; Clacks
as, 3,422; Jackson, 2.953;
Washington, 2.880; and Doug
las recorded 2.025.
Accidents Increased in only
ten Oregon counties in 1965
over their 1964 totals: Crook,
