Mr. and Mrs. Becket were mar

He has lived In lleppner since he
was three years of ace. and his
mother and father came west on
u wagon train to settle first at
Weston. Mrs. Becket came to
lleppner from Wisconsin. Mr.
Bccket's parents later moved to
Portland to retire, and the wed
ding of tht Walter Beckets was
performed there.

at the luncheon

The bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Cashimer J
Gazda of Lewlston, N Y. He Is
a doctoral candidate In mech
anical engineer at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute In Troy,
N Y., and holds Bachelor of Sc
ience and Masters Degrees from
that Institution.
Dr. Melvln S. Lanee of Ar
lington officiated at the wed-
dine ceremony.
The bride, escorted to the altar
bv her father, was gowned in
white silk organza designed
with a scooped neckline and
short sleeves. The empire style
gown was styled with applique
of Swiss Guipur lace at the
neckline and sleeves. A deep
hem of Guipure lace enhanced
the slim skirt, which extended
Into a full chapel length train.
Her shoulder length veil of Im
ported silk illusion fell grace
fully from a headpiece of match
ing Swiss Guipure lace. She car
ried a floral bouquet of white
gardenias and baby's breath.
Attending as matron of honor
was Mrs. Janis G. Smith. She
wore a floor length dress of
soft pink silk organza designed
with n sabrina neckline and
short sleeves. A muted floral
pattern at the waistline and
down the back of the dress con
nected the A-line silhouette
skirt.
Bridesmaids, Linda Holdredge,
Margretta Smyth, Roberta Jer
man and Judith Harron, were
dressed identically to the mat
ron of honor.
Serving the groom as best
man was Paul Borowskl, and
wedding guests were ushered
bv Kenneth Albert Ullman, bro
ther of the bride, Doug Koop,
Kenneth Werneberg, and Wayne
Conrad Ullman, brother of the
bride, as lunlor usher.
Wedding music was played
by Miss Emma Lou Diemer,
organist.

greeted guests at a reception
In the parish hall of the church,
where they shared the first slice
of their 3-tiered wedding cake.

June from Wells College In
Aurora, N.Y. Following the hon
eymon trip, the newlyweds will
reside in Troy, N.Y.
