NOTICE OF BUDGET ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that a special election has been
called by the District Board of
Directors of the lone-Lexington
Cemetery District of Morrow
County, Oregon, the election to
be held In the said distict and
slate on the 20th day of June,
v., between the hours ol 8:00
a.m. and 8:00 p.m., In the fol-
owing voting place: The City
Hall, lone, being in Morrow
County. At this time there will
re submitted to the legal voters
of the cemetery district the ques
tion of establishing a tax levy
lor the fiscal year 1966 67, for
the sum of $10,629.85, as submit
ted by Section 11. Article XI, of
the Constitution of the State of
Oregon, which said period com
mences on July 1, 1906 and ends
on June 30, 1967 and said levy
will be pieced upon the 1906-67
assessment roll and said taxes
will be due and payable on No
vember 15, 1966. February 15,
VM1. May 15, l!i7, and August
15, 1967. The reasons for estab
lishing thit tax levy are for the
payment of employees' salaries,
supplies and equipment for the
operation and maintenance of
the cemeteries within the cem
etery district, all as required by
the la.vs of the State of Oregon.
The voles shall be by ballot
upon which shall be marked
"Tax Levy" ( ) and the word
"Yes" and 'Tax Levy" ( ) and
the word "No" and the voter
shall place a cross between the
word 'Tax Levy" and the word
Yes or between the word Tax
Levy and the word "No" which
ever Indicates his choice.
