AN ACTIVE leader in the Heppner -Morrow County Chamber of Commerce, Al Lamb served as
presdiut in 1964. He was an officer and director through other recent years. The above picture
was talten in 1962 when Lamb (right) was a vice president Fred Gimbel (standing) was pres

ONE OF THE most significant and interesting experiences of Al
Lamb s later life was participating on the Central Africa Trade
Mission of th U. S. Department of Commerce in May. 1962. A
highlight cf th trip was a visit with th lot Dr. Albert Schweit-
ter at Lambaren. French Equatorial Africa. Th abov picture,
