Lions Provide Holiday Cheer
The irrigon Hons Club dis
tributed over 250 sacks of can
dy to youngsters i the commu
nity at the Christmas tree which
they had installed and decor
ated early In December. Later
that evening, the club distrib
uted candy treats to senior citi
zens of the community, and fur
nished baskets of food for needy
families. The Lions Club and
the Irrigon P.T.A. Jointly fur
nished treats that were distrib
uted to those attending the A. C.
Houghton Christmas program.
The Irrigon Boy Scouts assisted
the Lions Club in furnishing the
candy distributed at the Christ
mas tree.
