A Condomnod Man
Spooks to tho Youth
Of Heppner
Monday afternoon I talked
to a young man. condemned
to die In the Slate IYn. for
a crime he had committed.
I told him of Christ's love
for him even now. We read
I John 1:9. "If we confess our
Kins he I faithful and Just
to forgive our sins and
cleanse us from all unright
eousness." We read from Kev.
3:20 where Jesus said: "Be
hold I stand at the door, and
knock. If any man hew my
voire and oien the door I
will come In." John 1:12 "As
many as received Him
(Christ) to them cave He
(tower to become the sons of
Cod."
There In that Cell In death
row we prayed, he confessed
his sins, opened his heart's
door and received Christ
Chrlnt came Into his heart
with Ills all forgiving love,
anil transforming power.
loung people, you will
probably not end up on death
row In a State pen. However
you dont know where tho
path of sin will take you.
You, too. need the transform
Ing power of Christ In your
life.
If the condemned killer
could speak to each of you
today, he would say: "Don't
end up like I did, give your
lire to jesus Christ, and servo
Him."
Young people, as you read
this I Invite you to take
Christ as your friend and
Saviour, open your heart's
door to Him, let Him come
in. Let Him be your guide,
and your very life. Won't you
open your heart to Him right
nowT
Cod Bless you,
Kev. Don McCarty
