Heppner High's Jayvee hoop

At Burns the jayvees took an
11 10 lead in the first quarter
but found themselves behind at
the half, 27-15. Burns ran away
from then on, leading 47-26 at
the end of the third period and
65-48 for the final. Mark Brown
led all scorers with 21 points.
The jayvees lost out to Grant
Union of John Dav in a harH
fought battle which saw the lead
seesaw back and forth between
ine two teams. Heppner was
aown, 13-10, at the end of the
first period, but the junior
norsemen roared Back to a 24
22 halftime edge.
Heppner s boys found them
selves on the underside of
41-37 score at the end of three
periods and couldn't quite get
ine win. urown or Heppner and

While Hcppner's personals

Thus, at the start of

three of its best, leaving

Despite their ragged play,
however, the Heppner five did
get back on the .victory trail af

The win over lone means that
they are undefeated this season
