Player Awards

for those who participated in the
Lions-Chamber-Jaycee basketball
games were presented with ap
propriate ceremony at the Mon
day night meeting of the lone
Lions club. Carol Miller made
the presentations.
Don McClure received the a
ward as the most valuable play
er in the Jaycee-young Lions
game while Dr. A. D. McMurdo,
C of C trainer, received the tro
phy for the Chamber-old Lions
game. Charlie O'Connor, who suf
fered a dislocated finger in the
latter game Just as he was sup
posed to feign an Inlurv. didn't
get anything.

weather, the Lions netted about
