and technically his resignation

Coming for Fair
Babe's Blue Ox.' a huge steer
that is three-quarters Holstein
and one-fourth Shorthorn, will
be at the county fair on Wed
nesday, according to Don Rob
inson, fair committee chairman
and livestock superintendent
The steer weighs more than
2500 pounds and stands about
six feet tall. He is owned by Dan
Follett of Follett's Pioneer Meat
Co., Hermlston.

svstem serves all building and

feet from a hydrant. The sys
tem ts capable of handling 40
gallons per minute for four
hours without interruption.
The guard station, which will
house the guard In charge of
the work center, and the bar
racks are modern in every" re
spect. A type of plyboard. called
'Texture 1-11" is used for the
rustic exterior. Interior finish Is
of plywood, spatter painted.
Vinyl tile will cover floors over
sheathing sub flooring, and as
bestos shingles cover the roofs.

for the convention in Atlantic
City, N. J. The convention opens
Monday.
After departing by air from
Portland at 8:15 a.m., he ex
pects to arrive in Atlantic City I

be going a little later than most
delegates from Oregon and will
miss the state's caucus sched
uled for 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Twenty-four are In the Oregon
delegation, and 24 alternates are
listed.
Lamb will make the trip alone.
His wife. Mrs. Lamb, decided not
to make the trip alter sne waicn-
