Sales of the Treasury's E and
H Savings Bonds in Oregon were
high again in October according
to the report received here today
by County Chairman Jack Bed
ford. "This is the seventh month in
the last eight that sales in the
state have exceeded those of a
comparable month in 1962," said
Chairman Bedfrod. "Oregonians
have bought $29,839,495 worth of
E and H Bonds this year, which
is 9.7 ahead of our sales for
the first three quarters of 1962.
According to latest figures avail
able, Oregon ranked tenth in
the nation in progress toward
our 1963 quota."
