legal voters of the lone-Lexing
ton Cemeterv District that a
special election of said district
will be held in the lone City
Hall between the hours of 2:00
p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Oregon Day
light Saving Time, on July 8,
1963, for the purpose of submit
ting to the legal voters ot said
District the question of increas
ing the tax levy for the fiscal
year 1963-1964 over the amount
limited by Section 11, Article XI
of the Constitution of Oregon.
The reasons for increasing
said levy are:
1. The District has no tax base
and any taxes levied for its oper
ation must be by a vote ot the
legal voters.
2. That the District cannot op
erate without tax funds.
The amount of tax in excess
of 6 limitatkm, proposed to be
levied for said fiscal year is
$14,875.00.
