On March 13, 1963, the Public
Utility Commissioner accepted for
niine an ADDlication of Eastern
Oregon Telephone Company for
an order oi the Commissioner al
locating exclusively served tele
phone utility service areas, made
pursuant to the provisions of
ORS Chapter 757. The service
areas are specifically designated
by description on Exhibit "A,"
which is a map of the areas in
volved, and Exhibits "B" and "C,"
which are legal descriptions of
the areas involved. Exhibits "A,'
"B" and "C" are attached to and
by reference made a part of
the Petition which is on file in
the office of the Public Utility
Commissioner.
The areas involved are desig
nated as "Serving Area No. 1"
and "Serving Area No. 2." Serv
ing Area No. 1 is located gener
ally in the extreme northeast
corner of Gilliam County, and
the northern portion of Morrow
County along the Columbia
River, west of the town of Irri
gon and the Umatilla Ordnance
Depot and northerly of the points
Known as Cecil and Buttercreek
Junction. Serving Area No. 2 is
