marked for removal, located on
an area embracing 53 acres,
more or less, within sections 26,
34, and 35, T. 6 S, R. 25 E.;
sections 2 and 3. T. 7 S., R. 25 E.,
W. M., surveyed, in the Umatilla
National Forest, Oregon. The net
scaled volume is: 78.00 M board
feet of ponderosa pine sawlogs,
13.08 M board feet ot Douglas
fir and western larch sawlogs,
9.03 M board feet of white fir
and other species sawlogs, and
1.31 M board feet of older dead
unsound sapwood sawlogs. Bids
are invited on a lump sum basis
and no bid of less than $2,050.91
will be considered. Sealed bids
will be publicly opened and
posted at Pendleton, Oregon, at
2:00 P.M. on April 1, 1963. All
those who submitted a satis
factory sealed bid will be per
mitted immediately to continue
auction bidding. A money order,
bank draft, cashiers or certified
check for $2,050.94 must accom
pany each sealed bid, to be ap
plied to the purchase price, re
