Ice Fishing Good
At Bull Prairie
According to Forest Service re
ports, ice fishing has been very
good at Bull Prairie during the
past weeks. Over 100 persons
have been enjoying the sport
during the week-ends and a few
fish during the week-days. Also
many are ice skating on the
pond.
The ice is frozen solidly, and
fishermen set up their spots on
the ice. Some of them build
warm fires while they are fish
ing through the holes chopped in
the ice. The day time fishing
seems to be more successful, and
temperatures are ranging around
the freezing point or just below.
Drinking water is available at
the faucet near the cabin which
has been left running. Roads
are good but one should use
chains.
