PTA Plans Civil Defense. Program
The coming PTA meeting on
November 8 at 8:00 p. m. will
consist of the program on Civil
Defense in Nuclear Attack. There
will be three main speakers and
each will cover three questions

parents. Three Links Club Entertains
The 3 Links Club of lone were
hosts to a 1:00 p. m. luncheon
and bingo party in honor of
the Past Noble Grand Clubs from
Lexington, Heppner and Hard
man. 38 guests were present to
enjoy the menu of turkey and
all the trimmings, held on
Thursday of last week at the
Rebekah and Odd Fellow hall.
The room was decorated In fall
colors In the flower arrange
ments, with a flower centerpiece

at the Joe Holbrook home on
Rhea Creek for a few days hunt
ing. The PTA meeting last week
was held on Thursday, due to
conflicting dates. The group
voted to use some of the money
left over from last year for a
special project which will be
determined at a later date. Sev
eral worthwhile ideas have been
voiced but consideration will be
given before it is decided what
the money will be used for.
