TO THE
EDITOR
Deiir Wes:
It was extremely thoughtful
of you to send me a copy of
your June 20 issue featuring a
welcome to Morrow County. I
rvad it nil with mucn interest
and considerable nostalgia.
Although I spent all of my
high school years in lone, we
moved to the Eight-Mile area
soon after graduation and Hepp
ner became our "home town."
Both lone and Heppner, there
fore, occupy sentimental spots in
my heart.
Again, thanks very much.
Should you have occasion to visit
the valley, be sure to drop by.
I hope to get to eastern Oregon
again sometime soon and will
visit you In your new location.
Cordially yours,
R. K. Liouallen
President,
Oregon College of Education,

Dear Sir:
Just a line to enclose with my
renewal for another year to the
"Heppner Gazette-Times."
I lived in lone for seven years
and your paper seems like letters
from home. Needless to say I
enjoy It very much.
Sincerely,
Mrs. J. C. Ware

Dear Sir:
Even though Arlington doesn't
have a newspaper, I know that
your paper is sold there.
I'd like to express my sincere
appreciation to the people of
Arlington for their hospitality
and thoughtfulness.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks to our many
friends for making our stay in Heppner such a pleasant
one.
We are so pleased to turn Phil's Pharmacy over to Jim

the same service and enjoy making their home here with
You.

Fortunately, the hotel had a

After a good night's rest we
