riage to Joe Allen Majors, son
of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Majors
of Amboy. Wash., on May 14
at the Moreland rresbyterlan
church In Portland.
Best man was Ernest Ranleri,
ushers, Donald Beckzar and Don
ald Tarnell of HUlsboro and
Harold Grimm of Corvallis. Terry
and David Aberle were flower
girl and ring bearer. Edmond
Brlstow, uncle of the bride, gave
the bride away.
The decor of the church and
the reception room was orchid.
The reception was held in the
Pompcllan Room of the Congress
Hotel.
After a honeymoon to San Juan
Island and Orcas Island the
couple will be at home In Tort
land where they are both em
ployed at the Llyod Center med
ical department.
Mrs. Majors and her family
formerly lived in the lone area
and she has many relatives in
the lleppner and lone commun
ities. Those from lone and lleppner
attending the wedding were, Mr.
and Mrs. Everett Kelthley and
Edmond and Donald Brlstow.

Mrs. Harold Snider was hon
oree for a baby shower given in
her honor at the St. William's
Church all purpose room, by the
ladles of the St. William's Altar
Society last Thursday evening.
The decor of the room was
green and yellow. The hostess set
up individual card tables around
which the guests sat. Mrs. Sni
der presided at the gift table,
assisted by Mrs. Paul Tews and
Janice Snider. The gifts were
then placed on other card ta
bles for display and after re
freshments were served the
guests enjoyed inspecting the
lovely gifts.

church will host a farewell party
for Rev. and Mrs. Robert Why
brew and daughters at the court
house lawn on Sunday afternoon
at 1:30.
The Whybrews will leave
soon for St. Maries, Idaho after
an eighteen month stay in llepp
ner as pastor of the Church of
the Nazarene.
