gagement of their daughter, Ce
celia Ann, of Pendleton to Mark
James Madigan of Stanfield, son
of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. F.
Madigan, Leeds, N. D.
Miss Reynolds is a former
teacher of lone High School.
She is now teaching at the Pen
dleton High School.
Madigan is a graduate of State
Teachers College of Mayville,
N. D. He is now teaching the
seventh grade in the elementary
school in Stanfield.
A June wedding is planned.
Co-op Biddies To
Meet Feb. 6
The Lexington Co-op Biddies
will meet at the home of Mrs,
F;ay Drake, 275 W. Baltimore,
Heppner on Feb. 6, 1:30 p.m.
The project for the afternoon
will be round -smocked pillows.
Material needed will be one
yard of corduroy or material of
similar weight, also other items
to bring are a yard stick, chalk,
crayon or pencil to mark with,
scissors, needle, and thread.
There will be assistance avail
able at the meeting for anyone
needing help with their knitting
and are invited to bring it along.

agent, went to Portland on busi
ness, Wednesday.
