Large Crowd Attends
Annual Christmas
Rainbow Dance
On of the Meh light of the
holiday vacation for the young
people was the ChrUtmas ball
put on by the Rilnttow elrla at
the Masonic hall on IK-. 27.

The room wat decorated with
many Christmas things and the
main attraction was the huge
snowman In the center of the
dance floor.
The music was furnished by
Rletmann's orchestra from lone.
Mother adviser I Mrs. Claude
Graham. Mrs. Lewis Halvorson
had charge of the punch bowl,
Mrs. Lowell Cribble the enter
tainment, and Paul Crown the
tickets. Also many others worked
on the various committees.
Steven Flu? spent a few days
with Bob Huffman at the Huff
man home.

Extension Units Study
Cooking Techniques
"Let's Broil Meat!" will be the
rry of the Morrow county exten
sion units when they meet for
their monthly meetings in Jan
uary, according to Esther Kir
mis. county extension agent.
Sixteen women, who took
training from Miss Kirmls in De
comber, will give tips on broil
ing meat, vegetables, and fruits
to their respective clubs. The
broiled foods they prepare will
be served as the unit's luncheon
or supper that day.
The lesson will give new
Ideas In broiling and help get
variety into the housewlfes
meal. Broiling Is one of the best
way to save minerals, vitamins,
and other food values.
