heads of wheat and corsages.

trict by popular vote. It was
prepared by Mrs Emmett Myers
of Hermlston. She will be re
membered In lone as a flower
chow Judge.
Mrs Rawlins gave a humorous
monolog. "The Treasurers Re
port, during the business meet
ing. Mrs Martin served on the
credentials committee.
While at the convention, Mrs
Martin and Mrs Rawlins were
guests of Mr and Mrs Charles
Dallas, wheat farmers near Fen
dleton. Mrs Martin also received
as door prize a trl colored birch
tree. There were 331 registered
and 239 official delegates.

Mr and Mrs Walter Jacobs and
Mrs Charles O'Connor attended
the Grand Chapter of the Eastern
Star of Washington in Spokane
last week. Mrs O'Connor is the
grand representative of Missouri
in Oregon. R F Cunningham,
father of Mrs Jacobs, was In
stalled as worthy grand patron.
The Jacobs also visited relatives
in Washington. Their children
stayed at the Leo Crabtree home.
